OEM & ODM Services

Your design, made by hands that have made shoes for 35 years.

We develop and manufacture women’s sandals, slippers and flat shoes for boutiques, importers and independent brands. Send a sketch, a reference photo or a sample pair — we take it from there.

Two ways to work

OEM or ODM — start wherever you are

Some buyers arrive with a finished tech pack. Others arrive with a photo saved from Instagram and a target price. Both are workable starting points.

OEM

You bring the design

You supply the drawings, tech pack, material specification or a physical sample. We make the pattern, cut the last, source the materials and produce to your specification. Your brand, your box, your labels. Your design and artwork stay yours — we do not resell or show them to other buyers.

ODM

You start from our library

Choose from more than a thousand original designs we have developed over three decades, then change what you need — upper material, colour, heel height, trim, sole, packaging. Faster and cheaper than developing from zero, because the pattern and last already exist.

What we can change

Where customisation actually happens

Not every change costs the same. The list below runs roughly from the cheapest and fastest at the top to the most involved at the bottom.

Customisation options, cost impact and lead time
What you change Impact on cost Added development time Notes
Colour of an existing style None to low None Subject to material availability; some colours have their own minimums
Packaging, box, hangtag, insole print Low 3–5 days Send print-ready artwork; we can arrange local box printing
Trim — buckles, rhinestones, raffia, bows Low to medium 3–7 days Hardware minimums may apply on unusual pieces
Upper material or leather grade Medium 5–7 days The single biggest lever on landed cost
Strap layout and upper pattern Medium 7–10 days New pattern required; existing last reused
Outsole or wedge on an existing mould Medium 7–10 days Choose from moulds we already hold
New last or new outsole mould High — one-off tooling 20–30 days Tooling is charged once and reused on every repeat order
The cheapest route to a custom-looking shoe

Take an existing last and outsole from our library, then change the upper pattern, material and trim. Visually it reads as a new shoe. Financially it skips the tooling cost entirely and reaches production two to three weeks sooner.

Development process

From your first message to the first carton

01

Brief and feasibility

Send whatever you have — a photo, a sketch, a competitor’s product page, or a physical pair. Tell us your target retail price, your market and roughly how many pairs you expect to order in the first season. We come back with an honest yes, no, or “yes but not at that price”.

Typically answered within one business day

02

Quotation and material selection

We quote against a specific material list rather than a vague description, so you can see exactly what is driving the price. If the number is too high we will show you which two or three substitutions bring it down and what they cost you in look or durability.

Quotations are valid for 30 days

03

Pattern, last and prototype

Our pattern makers cut the upper pattern and prepare the last. The first prototype is made by hand in the development room, photographed from every angle, and shipped to you.

7–10 days for the first sample

04

Sample review and revision

You wear it, measure it, and mark up what is wrong. Strap too tight across the instep, heel a centimetre too high, colour half a shade off — all normal on a first sample. Most styles settle after one or two revisions.

5–7 days per revision round

05

Confirmed sample and sealed pair

Once you approve, we seal a reference pair and keep it in the workshop. Every pair in the bulk run is checked against that sealed sample, not against a drawing. This is what stops a batch drifting away from what you approved.

Sealed samples are retained for repeat orders

06

Bulk production

Materials are cut, uppers stitched, lasted, soled and finished by the same craftsmen who built your sample. We photograph the line partway through so you can see progress before the goods are boxed.

15–30 days depending on quantity

07

Final inspection, packing and shipment

Every pair is checked, paired, boxed and cartoned with your markings. We send inspection photographs and the packing list before the goods leave, and hand over to your forwarder or ours.

What to send us

The more of this you have, the faster development gets

None of it is mandatory. A single photo is enough to start a conversation. But each item below removes a round of guessing.

  • Reference images — front, side, back and sole of the look you are after
  • A physical sample — by far the fastest way to communicate fit and feel
  • Target retail and landed cost — this shapes every material decision
  • Size run and ratio — EU, US or UK, and how many pairs per size
  • Colourways — Pantone references if you have them, physical swatches if you do not
  • Material preferences — leather, PU, raffia, textile, and anything you must avoid
  • Branding artwork — logo files for insole, sock lining, box and hangtag
  • Market and season — where it will sell and when it needs to land

Working with small brands

Thirty pairs is a real order here

Most factories treat a thirty-pair order as an inconvenience. We built our workshop around small runs, because that is what independent buyers actually need when they are testing a style for the first time.

Test before you commit

Order thirty pairs across a size run, sell through a season, then repeat what worked. Far better than a thousand pairs of a style your customers turn out not to want.

Tooling paid once

If your first order needs a new last or mould, that cost is paid once. Every repeat order after it carries only the unit price.

Your designs stay confidential

Anything you send us is used for your production only. We do not offer your designs to other buyers, and we are happy to sign an NDA before you send artwork.
